This is a list from least expensive ($19K) (www.carsdirect.com) to most expensive with all the options I want.

The Element is hanging in there in the top 3 picks (price is not my main factor).

The Jeep Grand Cherokee bumped it off the #1 pedastal. That's a really good price for the Freedom Edition. The Touareg sits at #3, and the price is the only thing keeping it from killing all others ($39K)

The 4Runner made a debut today. Saw a picture of one and had to wipe some drool away. It sits at #4.

I looked at all those too! But I'm sticking with the E just for the fun and practicality factors. I have 3 dogs to haul around and I think the E will be perfect. I lie Subaru in spririt, but everyone I know that's had one has had some trouble getting parts when they wear out. But maybe they aren't like that anymore.

I say you come over to the dark side and get an E. Afterall do any of those other vehicle have a fun group of people who visit a cool website like this one all the time?

Go for the E -- resale alone will kick that Daimler in the behind. Not to mention that everyone and his brother has one.
