Hi - I'm on my second set of wires that attach the tailgate the the E. I find that when I load thing in and out of the truck things drag across the wires and shred the outer plastic covers.

Anyone else find this happens frequently?

The covers on mine are worn away. I have not though about replacing them though. How much are they?
