Hello all,

My new to me ex-DrkBlckSC has shown a leak in the right rear TEIN Basic Coil Over when it is jacked up for wheel change. Does anyone know if or where or how this strut can best be repaired?

Tein re-billed their coilovers depending on your liking, some have theirs re-valve completely for more stiffer ride.

OK, here it goes.

  • Remove leaking strut
  • Bring it to: 9798 Firestone Blvd., Downey, CA 90241
  • That's the West Coast facility
  • Agree to the terms on the form
  • Pick up your refurbed shocks
  • Install
  • Be happy

you also have the option to replace both rear springs to 14kg 150mm vs 12kg 175mm, the differences are rear stiffer ride, better handling overall.

...But will it ride like a 'covered wagon' thereafter?
