Hi there. Wanted to see if any of you have ever replaced your bumper with a third party bumper. Been talking to a guy named george who sells Chinese version of bumper assemblies taken from honda molds. Anyone buy and install one of these?

And if not, anyone scraping an 03 bumper for parts i could obtain?

I have a 2003 EX and was able to put on a newer model SC style bumper on without any modifications.

I've purchased a few knockoff bumper covers for various cars in the past, and they've all had fitment issues. A couple even had problems with paint adhesion. Before anybody scream PREP WORK, this was on a full body spray, so the entire car was sanded and primered, and only the knock off bumpers had paint flaking off. OEM plastic parts were fine.

thanks guys good to know. I am actually talking about the whole assembly, not just the cover. Ill look into some SC bumpers as well.
