Zombies have so much fun already, not to mention the best eats!

Would Honda dare do an Element commercial with Zombies?!?
What!?
What could beat a commercial with an Element drifting by, and a guy (or girl) standing up through the sunroof, blasting away at a zombie horde!?
Seats fold up for plenty of room to stack more zombies and, oh yeah, that easy clean interior!8)

A bunch of toys head to the store to load up on bacon and marshmallows, then they go camping and while hiking are attacked by zombies they kill the zombies, stack them in the E and drive them to the bonfire, singing and dancing merrily "We are the Campions". Please dare. Yes, I meant to spell "Campions"

Don't know if anyone noticed but Honda has some of the lamest commercials for their cars. The current "helpful Honda guy" spots are just plain stupid. It is addressing something nobody worries about. As if before these spots we all thought Honda sales guys were unfriendly?

I have a friend who works for Honda advertising and I questioned him about the weak Element commercials over the years. He told me that most of their staff think their ads are sub par, but American Honda insists on using the same advertising company they've used from way back in the 70's. They rather be loyal to an old and out of touch company than actually advertise their products correctly.

This is the reason we'll never get the kind of ad the Element deserves. Ads like the playful Kia one here, or ads in camping, running, backing, outdoors, biking, kayaking, or triathlon magazines showing what we all know this car can do.

Sorry for the rant, but it tick me off how poorly the Element has been marketed over the years!

Maybe we can lure them in a room with a Rubik's Cube and a Twister game, a lava lamp, some Charlies Angels tapes and oh heck tie up Donny Osmond and put him in their as more bait.

When they run inside, lock the door!

Honda will be forced to hire a new company!
Baa haaa haaaaa! My sinister plan is in the works!

The Element video commercial that Honda posted the other day on their Honda Element Facebook page looks like it is straight out of the seventies. It claims to show all the uses of the E, but an E with wings flying through the sky? Really, Honda? Really? I fear the end is near for our beloved Es... :-(

it don't look good...

Yeah, cmpbx, that is true. Thanks for the interesting info about the company they use for their ads.

Now, I liked the fun style of the video on the Honda Element site-except for the words of the song-'so I won't fade away'? And the singer's voice was lame. Is that the same thing they have on facebook?(Too lazy to try making a facebook account again) If so, they haven't done anything new for a year. And it never played half as well as the Kia ad.

That Kia ad is odd. I guess they know what they are doing. They are appealing to the desire of young kids to be teens and have adult adventures, I guess. I don't watch enough kid movies to know...Maybe I am a pre-teen in an adult's body, since it all appeals to me. I like the shoutout to Oceans 11!

Sigh. Maybe this should be on another thread, but I fear the end is near for the E anyway. Did you see the US military says oil could be in short supply by 2015? Of course many experts disagree about this. No-one knows for sure. I bought this car figuring it was my last gas-powered car. I'm waiting for the electric cars to be perfected, aiming to keep the Boxie-woxie for up to 10 years. It will be sad if gas engines pass out of my reach before I even drive a Miata.

That's pretty funny. I went from 2 previous Miatas to the E figuring it would be the last pure gas car I'll buy. I think there are a couple of other former Miata owners in the EOC as well.

Go to the Mazda dealer today! Test drive the Miata. This way you'll have a silly grin to carry you through most of next week.

If you are in San Diego, go to the dealer in Escondido. Tell them you are part of the Miata club. They'll give you a map of the twisty back roads for your test drive;-)
