Thanks! I wouldn't have thought I needed the antenna base! Good to know! I wish I had the space to store more headlights, they take up a lot of space.Headlights (if nice), mirrors, tail lights, radio antenna with base all come to mind to begin with.
And options like a roof rack and running boards are always being sought after as well.
I need the part that is between the tailgate and the floor—it’s a few inches wide and full length, and connects via little spring clips. The plastic where the clips attach has broken on mine. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, LMK and I’ll take pictures. It’s a 2010 SC but I’m guessing that it’s the same for all models/all years.Hi all.
I'm hoping to spend more time at the wreckers this summer, partially to take things apart and teach myself, and to collect things for my car before it needs them. Also, to collect small things others might need.
What small-ish items should I be looking to remove from salvage yard elements, or other vehicles, that will help other owners, that I could re sell for reasonable and fair prices?
I'd like to learn to clean and re build. I'm thinking window motors, starters, gas caps, VTEC oil pressure switch. VTEC, ect. Maybe the various filters?
If anyone has any tips on stupidly over priced items that I might be able to help out with just by grabbing things, that's what I'm after. I can't find the post, but someone posted the other day on FB or such about a small metal thing that Honda wanted a stupid amount of money for. I figure if I'm going anyways, I may as well save other parts, and put money towards keeping my own precious on the road. Thanks!
