Alright I have read everyones opinion on the panels, and even added my own on a few threads. I think its time everyone make up their own mind about whether the panels are to sensitive for them or not. I happen to be able to keep my fingernails and all other dull or sharp metal objects away from my car , therefore I don't forsee a problem. If you do have sharp fingernails and or can't keep them away from your car you may want to consider cutting them or buying another vehicle. ITS NOT STEEL :x, ITS NOT SCRATCH-REPELLANT :x(best I could come up with), ITS NOT PERFECT :x, IT IS PLASTIC :!: :!: ENOUGH SAID :!:    :!:

P.S.

I think if you are either FOR or AGAINST the way Honda has designed those panels...its only an opinion.
And everyone has a right to their opinion on a public forum. Thats the thing with a public forum, sometimes you have to hear the point of view of someone you don't necessarily agree with.

I agree with you ibutch, I want everyone to voice their opinions. It's just everytime I sign on and I see 6 more threads (not postings but entirely seperate threads) about a topic we have done circles around it is the slightest bit annoying.

by the way I contacted Honda, and they will not be replacing any panels damaged by chainsaws  so put your chainsaw away patedugan
