We did stay in a pretty famous local rest stop just south of Seattle. Was warned that it was a BAD place, but it was just a few folks struck hard by the Covid. Several lost jobs and property, most were just trying to wait Covid out, so they could go back to work. Everyone was just trying to make the worst of a really bad, for them, situation.

Hope it isn't you, one day. As I am not sure you would be as amiable as those folks.

We also stayed at a casino parking lot on the trip. I am always intimidated by truck stops, afraid they will run us off. Have to try that out next time. You can also get a shower there. My son in law says the truckers all have ID cards with a bunch of free showers built up from filling up with diesel and sometimes you can give one 10 bucks for a couple of showers that would cost 30 dollars to you. Once again, that might be awkward, LOL

I've never been bothered at a truck stop. I don't park real close to the building. The most recent times were in a Ford E350 with all the seats removed so it wasn't obvious I was in there.

TIP: Save water and $$ - shower with a friend!

5.70 x 8 load range C. There are 22,000 miles on those little tires and plenty of tread left. They went 80-90 mph for hundreds of miles out West where 80 mph is often the speed limit.
