Hello there! Happy New Year!

I moved to MN in August of 78 and stay put ever since. I've visited CA on several occasions with my parents and work relate pit-stop. I do like CA's weather and it's occean' but would not trade that for MN easy going life style.

Since I graduated from U of M with an EE back in 92, CA hi-Tech does attracted my attention in my jr. years as a engineer.

Twin Cities have alot to offer, specially Wayzata. Just few minutes to DT for night life and also 5 min to Lake Minnetonka a great hang out on a lazy hot afternoon MN's weather.

Victoria is a small upcoming community of 4-6 thousand and growing fast. It located between Waconia and Chanhassen on Hwy. 5, new housing development is very brisk also more affortable than Wayzata.

I wish you the best of luck and welcome back to the great state of 10,000 plus lakes.

Take care,

 I'm only posting this to let "viewers" know that as a local native, I felt compelled to respond to isdkelly's remarks, but have done so privately. Some have thought it "rude" of me in past for not appearing to respond to direct questions, when in fact, I have PMed responses to direct questions without "viewers" knowing it.

Wanted to find out what the skinny was on the MN Honda dealers when it comes to their service departments? I'd like to have the dealer service at the maintenance intervals, but based on the stories posted here ($120 for an oil change) from other parts of the country, I'm considering doing them myself....

I think we should try to do a breakfast Element meet-up at Perkins in Roseville some Saturday. I used to live in St. Paul and would sometimes see MG clubs and hotrodders there. It is on Snelling just off highway 36.
What do you TCers think?

Sounds like a good idea to get the E owners together. By the way, I am back from Oregon to good old Minnesota. Sure sucks paying sales tax here after being in Oregon for a few months

What's up Minnesota? It's May, and the frozen tundra has begun to thaw :)

Let's all meet at Porky's on University in St. Paul and back our E's into the far back row of the parking lot.

A weekend night probably won't work due to all the classic cars that will already be there when we roll in, but let's come up with a date and make a night of it. Thoughts / Opinions ??

Sounds good to me. Last meet was at Starbucks in Roseville by Rosedale. Two of us showed up. There is a new Dunn Bros. Cafe near Century College off 694...good food and coffee...a cool end parking area usually empty that would look great filled with Elements.

I'm interested in getting together.

Someone want to be brave and pick a date, time, and location?

Of course, the guy who suggested somebody pick a time isn't available on Sunday mornings.

Hey ElementArt - know any really good galleries on Art-A-Whirl? Went to some last year that had very mediocre offerings.

How about a weeknight? Element Art had mentioned the new Dunn Brother's Coffee in White Bear Lake, that actually sounds good, since they have more than just coffee, it's a cafe also. If we decide on 7 or 8 pm, maybe those who have not had a chance to eat can come by early to grab a sandwich......

Art-A-whobee?

An evening at the Dunn Bros would be great! There is even a nice row where we can park where no one else ever parks.

Apparently, you've never heard of Art-A-Whirl - NE Minneapolis' annual gallery tour-thing. It's a pretty big deal around here, but with so many galleries open, it's not always easy to find the good ones. Art-A-Whirl starts tonight and goes through this weekend. Visit www.art-a-whirl.com.

A weekday evening at Dunn Bros. would be fine. Thursday is usually best for me.

Minneapolis?...isn't that a suburb of St. Paul? Actually I've done a gallery walk some years ago. It was really fun. Hadn't paid attention lately and didn't know the "Art-A-Whirl" name. People watching was the most fun when I did the thing years ago.

As for a Element meet...I could probably swing a Thursday night also. How about some of you other Twin City members? June 9??? maybe?
