I had a setup similar to this. I had the amp mounted under the passenger seat, I had a hole in the bottom cover of the amp, and a corresponding hole in the top of the floor vent. It worked pretty good, just kept the fan on low all the time. You really don't need the a/c on, any airflow will do. I'm a biker too, so space in the back for gear and bikes takes priority.
