Finally got a lot of things done on the E this weekend. Friday saw the serpentine belt get changed, as well as the engine and cabin air filters. Then today I got the coolant changed out (I must say - for as critical as coolant is, this maintenance item is the most boring one I've ever done!).

Alls that's left, for now, is to get the diff fluid changed. I have to say, with the service manual on hand, and the successes I had with the maint items, definitely making more confident on maintaining the E. Now I'm definitely thinking I need to get some fogs (Roku?) and install those!

Good job doing all the stuff yourself and saving lots of money! You also know that its been done right and it will be even easyer the next time you do it.

Well, I hope and pray it was done right :-D

But, yeah, it is nice to DIY and have an idea of what's going on with something if it does go awry.

And, to update things, I finally got the tensioner replaced, and now the annoying squeak is gone.

Also managed to get the rear diff fluid changed as well.
