Whatever these are called, they look like they're not in great shape. What are they called and do I need to replace them asap?

Steering rod ends... and yes, yours have seen better days...

Jamb nut and flats on the steering rod to loosen it... alignment afterwards...

I wouldn’t say ASAP... (unless you just loosened it!) but ignore it at your peril... 🤣

If you snap one trying to get it off like I did, a 29MM crows foot is the tool I added to my collection for the other end... (center of the car behind engine 🤦🏻‍♂️)

Is that a new steering rack? If so, I bet the mechanic tore the rubber boots using a pickle fork to separate the joint. If those are OE joints and are still tight, Honda sells just the boots.

I'm not sure, I've had it for less than a month so I'm still finding all of these little "surprises" that the dealer left me and that the inspection didn't catch.
In any case I've already ordered the outer tie ends so I'll just replace them
