Do you use a AAA kit, create one yourself, or add to an existing kit?

What types of gear, equipment, 1st aid stuff do you have?

I figure w/ the bad weather might be a good time to see what people carry and get some discussion going

Things I would like to have in my emergency bag:

Survival kit contents check. In them you'll find: one forty-five caliber automatic; two boxes of ammunition; four days' concentrated emergency rations; one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills; one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible; one hundred dollars in rubles; one hundred dollars in gold; nine packs of chewing gum; one issue of prophylactics; three lipsticks; three pair of nylon stockings. Shoot, a fella' could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.

I live in a level 1 Hurricane zone and sit between two very LARGE oil refineries that have a tendancy to blow up from time to time.
I carry (2) backpacks "Bug Out Bags"- filled with water/MRE's/& basic needs. Great if I have to leave all of a sudden or if I'm out and can't get back.
I also have a bin with sheets/blanket/inflatable mattress-so If I'm ever out I have a cheap place to stay--in the E! Everything stays in the E, so a little less to pack when going on a camping adventure.

-Big mag lite - used not so much as a light source - but as an attitude adjuster if the siutation should arise

-'beach' slippers - can't have my dress up slippers getting ganked

• 2 rolls paper towels,
• 1 large Clorox Wipes
• 2 regular size 3/4" bandaid strips

and sometimes a dog or two, or three...

How much room is under the spare? I once tried to throw that sunroof bag in the spare well & the lid wouldn't sit flush. Never did get around to pulling out the spare to see how much space in below there.
