No I'm not talking about cookies - but your emergency kits that you keep in the E.

Do you use a AAA kit, create one yourself, or add to an existing kit?

What types of gear, equipment, 1st aid stuff do you have?

I figure w/ the bad weather might be a good time to see what people carry and get some discussion going :)

Jumper cables, emergency flashlight, work gloves, large cross-shaped lug wrench, tow rope.

Things I would like to have in my emergency bag:

Survival kit contents check. In them you'll find: one forty-five caliber automatic; two boxes of ammunition; four days' concentrated emergency rations; one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills; one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible; one hundred dollars in rubles; one hundred dollars in gold; nine packs of chewing gum; one issue of prophylactics; three lipsticks; three pair of nylon stockings. Shoot, a fella' could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.

I live in a level 1 Hurricane zone and sit between two very LARGE oil refineries that have a tendancy to blow up from time to time.
I carry (2) backpacks "Bug Out Bags"- filled with water/MRE's/& basic needs. Great if I have to leave all of a sudden or if I'm out and can't get back.
I also have a bin with sheets/blanket/inflatable mattress-so If I'm ever out I have a cheap place to stay--in the E! Everything stays in the E, so a little less to pack when going on a camping adventure.

Sounds good!
Stuff I've got in the E - some emergency/some beach stuff:
-Small air compressor - works off the power outlet. I've used it before and while inflating tires have the E running - works nicely
-Big mag lite - used not so much as a light source - but as an attitude adjuster if the siutation should arise :)
-GPS topo maps
-water
-Rain jacket
-cooler
-sun screen
-'beach' slippers - can't have my dress up slippers getting ganked
-microfiber towels
-tire pressure gauge
-bungee cords

Things I want to/will add:
-1st aid kit
-2nd aid kit incase the first fails
-blanket
-tire patch kit
-jumper cables

Lot's of goodE ideas :)

Two usually, but I can put the rear seats back in and carry four with all the gear listed. Most of it lives in the spare tire well.
How much room is under the spare? I once tried to throw that sunroof bag in the spare well & the lid wouldn't sit flush. Never did get around to pulling out the spare to see how much space in below there.

Always in the E:
TP
1st aid kit
baby wipes (they clean up ANYTHING)
mini compressor
pressure gauge
LED flashlight

Need to put back in the E:
jumper cables
shop rags
more tools besides bike tools
better lug wrench
tow straps

Wow E-ple, I've gotta get on the ball with my I.C.E. kit.

Right now my essentials are a can of Ozium, a lint roller, some microfiber towels, box of dog treats and both of the dog's backpacks.

Oh, and a sharpie and a lighter.

And my AAA card. :)
