I just replaced two tires on my '05 MT, since one front was wearing badly.

I removed one decent-looking tire. I wouldn't mind mounting it on a steel wheel to use as a full-service spare.

Question 1: When I look on eBay, wheels which fit different years are listed, but I can't discern a pattern. Do all Elements carry the same basic wheel size (tire size, bolt pattern, offset, etc.)?

Question 2: Anyone have a single used steel wheel to fit an '05 they might want to sell? I'm in N GA but I'm back and forth to Knoxville a lot if that would save on shipping.

Thanx!

before you get too enamored w/ the idea of a full service spare, you may want to determine where you would put it.
i don't know that a full service, ie, full width, spare would fit into the storage well under the cargo area, but maybe someone else does. considering Honda's elaborate instructions for reversing the wheel bracket so that a flat tire can be securely stored above the cargo floor, i suspect that Honda knows a full service spare won't fit under the cargo floor.

Thanks, guys. I'll check that link.

I was thinking of bolting the spare to a trailer.

But, thinking of it, has anyone come up with an external mount like I've seen on the back of some other SUV's? (here on a Jeep):
