One local wheel store here in San Bernardino, CA, offered me $200 for my stock alloy wheels off the new E. Of course I was gonna buy something that cost $800 to begin with, so that didn't seem to be too bad. Haven't done it yet, but have it in writing with his name on the biz card.

Just my opinion, but for what it's worth I'd keep them.
You can use them for dedicated snow tires (if you get snow in your area) or, at worst, save them for when you eventually sell the vehicle.
There's no way you'd get $200 a wheel.

I put a set of Michelin Cross-Terrain 235/70/R16 tires on mine and I am very happy with them, both for their looks and their performance. They ride and corner very nicely and are quiet. I gave the stock tires to a friend.

peace,

I have the 235/70/16 Goodyear Fortera HL editions. This tires are great !

The Element rides so smooth, rolls great and quiet. But the tires look tough. The sidewall has a great pattern..

The 235/70/16 really fits the Element well....

Here is a cool link - it lets you "try on" different wheels on your Element - you even get to see the wheels on the Element in the color you own - choose the E color on the left side of the page

I still have my old rims. I was thinking of calling the dealership- they have a DX on the lot with stock wheels- to spread the word that I have the EX wheels for sale.
