Or a V1, friend has both. put an 8500 next to a v1 on a few roadtrips and it was a crapshoot which one would go off first or if one or the other would give a false positive. V1 wins me over with the arrows though, awesome feature that gets my vote. that is if you don't mind spending $400.... i personally stopped using them after i got the element b/c i call it driving at the speed of dialup. lol, maximum of 9-10 over the limit with an average of just 5 over and use the cruise control whenever possible has served me well for fuel mileage.get a escort passport.
Looks like you've been doing some homework,as you've named the top three radar detector brands. I think I remember reading that the Escort Redline is the new big dog in radar detectors.Personally I have a Beltronics RX65 Professional Series and it's an excellent performing radar detector.I like it a lot.8) When I get a chance I'll have to show you guys my custom/unique radar detector install.Who would you say makes the best radar detector?
i am looking into the escort passport 9500; the Valentine or a bel.
i am looking for distance more than anything.
anyone use these?
