Or a V1, friend has both. put an 8500 next to a v1 on a few roadtrips and it was a crapshoot which one would go off first or if one or the other would give a false positive. V1 wins me over with the arrows though, awesome feature that gets my vote. that is if you don't mind spending $400.... i personally stopped using them after i got the element b/c i call it driving at the speed of dialup. lol, maximum of 9-10 over the limit with an average of just 5 over and use the cruise control whenever possible has served me well for fuel mileage.get a escort passport.
