Has anyone here ever ordered a Honda Care Extended Warranty from this site?

They appear to be a dealer selling the warranties at a decent price.

At closing (last Friday), I paid $1600 oops for a $0-deductible 6yr/75k warranty. hondawarranty.com offers a $0-deductible 7yr/100k Honda Care warranty for $1075. (Actually, $985 after you use a coupon code that they email you).

I know I can cancel the Honda Care I bought at closing, at no cost to me, within the first 60 days. Since I financed that in, the $1600 would go straight to the bank. My monthly payments wouldn't change, but I'd have $1600 paid towards the balance. I could throw the newer/cheaper warranty on a credit card and pay it off over two months or so.

I guess I should have done a LOT more research before I got into closing, but ... I'd still like to save the $600 at this point.

Any thoughts would be 'preciated!

They saw you coming - see if they'll make an adjustment - otherwise get the cheap deal (call ahead to verify it's a Honda dealer).

I was quoted $1100 for a 5 yr 60K with a rider that states if I never use it, I get 1/2 of my money back. I still didn't take it...

there are several posts one forum from a honda dealer who will sell you $0 ded/7/100K plan for $900--see if your dealer will match it when you go to cancel it. My dealer initally wanted $1650, but offered it at 900 when I said I'd wait. For $900 I went ahead.

I ended up cancelling my $1600 $0-ded 6yr/75k Honda Care warranty. I didn't cancel it before my contract went thru the bank, so the $1600 refund is going to the bank against my balance.

I picked up the $900 $0-ded 7yr/100K Honda Care warranty from Balise Honda (the guy's posted his info somehere on here). The only hard part about that was getting them to answer their phone during the end-of-month khaos.

I bought the same warranty. My dealership wanted me to pay $1600 (yeah right!) so I sent him to the link posted elsewhere on this site. I don't recall the exact amt, but $965 sounds like what we agreed on. I found it the night I agreed to buy but papers weren't signed til the next, and I'm sooooo glad I did my research!
