Kiwi E with a Thule Box and Yakima Rack

We installed a Yakima rack and a Thule cargo box. It is not that loud, and the Thule box has been very convenient. Also installed a u-haul receiver hitch and a Yakima swing gate bike rack. All in all, with our new Michelin tires (not in this photo), we think our Element looks pretty sweet.

I have a chance to buy the Yakima Space Booster 11 for $100. Is that worth it ?

Sounds like a good deal. One thing to look out for is that on the older ones the gas filled struts that hold it open any more. Not a deal killer at that price but something that you should be aware of.

We have the same box and it is awesome. It was invaluable for traveling to multi-day bicycle races and allowed us to bring races wheels for both road and TT bikes for two racers along with trainers and all the other gear you need. The one big drawback we found was the E with a box doesn't fit in most parking ramps so you need to find street parking which can be a pain depending on where you are.

Also works awesome for weeks at the cabin where there are of course zero parking ramps
