To make a long story short, I'm planning on selling my current Element soon but plan on getting another one later this year or early next year.
I just bought new Nokians so I would like to keep those wheels and tires for the "next' Element and find a replacement set to install before sale. It came with a set of nice set of Mazda wheels with 235 45 18's that apparently fit but those tires are pretty much shot and replacements are expensive.
There are a lot more Accords out there as potential donors for a set of wheels than there are Elements so I was thinking of getting a set of wheels/tires from one of them instead.
Based on the web reference I usually use, the bolt pattern (on the later 5 lug models) and centerbores are the same but the offset seems to be a little hard to pin down, it's shown as a range. I know I'll need to figure out potential difference in diameters etc but I'm more concerned about the offset being an issue before looking further.
Has anyone installed Accord wheels on an Element?
Plan B would be CR-V wheels but again, Accords are way more common.
Thanks!
