Acura brake upgrade

I'm all over this! Ordered calipers, rotors, pads today.

Any idea what application to use for the brake hoses? From what I can see on rockauto's picture the calipers are slightly different where the hose bolts on to. My thought is to grind off the locator nub.

Installed them today. Wow, is the caliper close to the rim! About 1/8 inch away from the stick on wheel weights.

Only drove a few easy miles, to bed them in. Feel about the same, but I'm sure when they bed in the stopping power will improve.

I installed the Raybestos EHT pads, they have a GG DOT rating, so they should have better high temperature resistance to fade.

You should torque your lug nuts to 80 ft/lbs and you won't have a problem with rotors warping. That is the key.
I have hand torqued my wheels to factory spec every single time since brand new. I am the only one that works on it, and yet every 15 to 20,000 miles the front rotors end up pulsating. I've turned the rotors with on car lathes, replaced rotors. Verified runout afterwards, and still the same results. Maybe this upgrade will help. I drive moderately and never overloaded.

I also added a set of brake pad spreader springs, because the acura pads did not use them. Raybestos #H6045.

Here's a link to them. DRT – NUCAP

So just to confirm, there is no bigger brake solution for the rear of our Elements? Only the front can be upgraded? I'm doing suspension work at the moment so I figured as long as the wheels are off I would look into any upgrades I could potentially do.
I searched for a rear upgrade using factory parts, could not find any.
I'm still impressed with the front upgrade. Was worth it.
