BC coilovers spring rate recommendation

I owned a 2009 Honda Element SC and I currently run on Eibach lowering springs. I like the ride but would like to go a little lower. I am thinking about the BC coilovers, but I can't find any information on the forums. Most guys recommended spring rate in the forum, they tend to load up their car and tow trailers. I mostly drive on my own with an empty car. So I will most likely go for a different rate. So please advise if you guys have any experience on them. Thanks.
spring rates should be a function of the amount of suspension travel. at one extreme, if there is no travel, then the spring rate is infinite. (and the passengers may need to see their dentists to have their fillings replaced.)
due to the design of the BC coilovers, the vehicle height can be adjusted without changing the suspension travel. so, if you're happy with the springs you have now, you can have them installed on the BC coilovers, keeping the same suspension travel. then adjust the vehicle to whatever height you want (after making allowance for slightly raised manhole covers <grin>).
you may want to contact BC about re-using your Eibachs, or you may want to get brand new springs. in addition to their standard springs, they offer a spring upgrade that may be of interest to you.
so, if you like the ride you have now on the Eibachs, get the same spring rates for the BCs and you'll be good.
wait, i seem to recall that the springs needed for the BCs have smaller diameter coils than the OEM springs, so re-using the Eibachs may not be possible. i foresee a call to BC, or 1 of their reps, in your future.
