All you need to do is take the red wire that is connected between the connector and the relay and connect it to any + wire going to the parking lights. It should be a red wire with a yellow stripe on your E.

You need to cut the red wire where I have indicated on the diagram.

Yes the switch will still work.

In the diagram you originally posted the red wire I indicated is the power for the switch.


If you put the switch in pos I then the power goes to the relay and turns on the Driving lights.

If you put the switch in pos II then the power goes to the relay and turns on the Halos.

By having this red wire hooked to the + of the parking lights all of the above will only happen when the parking lights are on.

So it won't matter what pos the switch is in as long as the parking lights are off the driving or halos will never turn on.

Actually, I did answer where to splice into the parking lights in my first post. It is the red wire with the yellow stripe that goes to the parking lights. :)


Beer, I can't wait to see the picts. Should be pretty sweet.
