I've got a line on a set of winter wheels/tires. Haven't gotten the size yet, but does anybody know if CRV steel wheels will fit on the element? What size they are?

you can only run a 215 (or maybe 225) max width....not really a problem for snows, but not as nice as being able to use 225s easy or even 235s (if thats what you're looking to do.)

I ment that post as a "heads up, " but probably should have given more info. Yeah they will fit...but most tire manufactures recommend a 6.5" or 7" wheel for that size. :wink:lizzurd said:.
According to my tire books the minimun rims width for a 235/70R16 is 6 inches.
