Perplexed I am.

 

Well. I was just venting. This e has been a job. I bought thinking a full fluid change would be it and An alignment. Now I've replaced a slew of things. The tie rods are shot outer and inner. And it didn't have bellows on either side so my guess is the rack is not in good shape. But man.. idk. I think I bit off more that I can chew. I can't find tool to take off. Thought hey I'll just cut it shorter but then I still have to put on car... idk. I do t have time to be Messino with this and there is no videos or real step by step.

Anyone with some real Info I would appreciate

 

Are you talking about removing the inner tie rod end from the steering rack? If so, when I did that that I believe I used a 26mm crow foot to loosen it, then turned it out by hand. Again, not sure of the exact size, but I think it was 26mm.

 

I did it. Not bad if you have time and right tools. Will post video soon. Got quoted 800 to do job that has taken me about 3 hrs to do with correct tools.
