How much lower do you think your front would be, if you setup the Tein's with minimum amount of preload?
Since Tein's utilize OEM strut top-hats, I was wondering if one of those strut spacers would be a good option...

 

How are you getting along with your Teins...any updates?

 

I have the E pretty low right now its rough over certain larger grooves on the freeway. Outside of that, they're defiantly beginner friendly and they work well. If I raised them abit to more to stock OEM height it gets better over those grooves but I didn't get them to be stock height. Overall I'm pretty happy with them for the costs. The St basis Z only have adjustable height and no dampening settings. I believe BC makes a set that has dampening for the E thats fairly more expensive.

When I picked up my E, the previous owner said it was on lowering springs. Rear spring were covered in gunk from the shocks leaking and didnt know until I cleaned them up to replace the shocks that they were Teins. Did the front control arms and lower ball joints, rear upper arms with a set of moogs, and rear shocks with KYBs to refresh the suspension. It is a stiff ride, driving over uneven roads I get a lound thump that sounds like the dashboard is going to crack.

Did you notice the front support bearing not fitting flush on the Tein springs?
Just think it's odd that it doesn't fit flush, like the ID of the spring is smaller then OEM.
