Rear CV Axle Install?

Hey ya’ll...
I was driving tonight and just after I threw it in reverse to turn around I noticed a pretty heavy clicking crunching sound going on under driver’s side rear/middle area. First thought was I had a flat and it was the rim, but the steering was fine. I got out and checked and the tires were good. Heavy clicking was still going on leading me to believe now it’s the rear CV Axle. I’ve done a few front CV axles myself in the past and getting used to it honestly. I was just curious though if anyone has had to replace the rear on their Element and if it’s exactly the same. Is there anything different on the rear than on the front of the Element that I need worry about? Anything I need to look out for?

Also, is it a really bad idea to drive it extremely slowly to the place I’m doing the repair? Obviously it’s not worth destroying my rear differential over this but avoiding a tow would be helpful. Anything I might damage?

Thanks as always for any advice here.
