I had to do a panic stop for a deer that trotted out in front of me (very very close to slamming into him, he didn't speed up to get out of the way). After that my right rear brake sounded very loud and rough when I apply the brakes fairly hard
I get back to my place hoping the sound would go away. The next morning, thinking there might be a stone caught into between one of the pads and rotor, I drove backwards and applied the brakes thinking I could force the rock out the other direction...and that seemed to be the solution
And all was quiet for the the rest of that day's braking but today it's back. If I apply the brakes gently but enough to stop, the sound doesn't happen. But if I brake harder the sound comes back
Any ideas what this intermittent sound could be? And why intermittent
