So recently i noticed my horn not working when i pressed it at the steering wheel. I thought ok i know where it is behind the bumper. But the strange thing is that it works when i press to lock on the key fob. So horn does work, just not at the steering wheel. Now this is a safety issue because if at a parking lot where i need to press it to get someone reversing i can avoid collision. Today i checked fuses and even removed both top & bottom cover from steering wheel to check connections. Anybody know what may be causing this?

If I remember correctly I think I had a similiar issue on my Acura many years ago and it may have been the clock spring? But I also remember replacing the horn at one point as well, the old one was rusty and it was cheap to replace it with an aftermarket one
Fixed! Culprit was clock spring. Pulled one from a salvage yard w/ switches included for $40. Got my horn, cruise control & even successfully reset srs light.
