Stripped Oil Pan Drain Plug

Yikes! Good luck.
This is why I have always used a torque wrench to tighten the drain plug (only on my personal vehicle). Go ahead and laugh all you want, tell me how you have been doing oil changes for years and tighten by hand never had a problem.
We see at least 1 stripped drain plug a month here in the dealer. Most drain plugs have been way over tightened.

I would try pulling/prying on the plug with VG, while twisting, no heat you won't get it hot enough to make a difference.

The idea is to tap downward until the thread remnants engage enough to thread it out. It’s not as if the threads are solid, and you’re slamming down so hard that it distorts the pan.
I know,,, just making sure AWD understands

But did you buy a welder???
Seriously that's good luck, worth a try with a new drain plug first. New crush collar, and dont go crazy tight.
