Ok so i have a 2010 EX 4WD with 97,000 miles on it. Ive owned it for about 10 years and haven't done much work to it but recently ive felt the suspension was pretty worn and the ride was rough. I went down the suspension replacing rabbit hole and replaced the following parts:
Rear
Rear Sway Bar bushings (moog)
Rear Sway bar stabilizer links (moog)
Rear Strut Assemblies (KYB)
Front
Right Pass steering knuckle (used OEM)
Front stabilizer links (moog)
Front sway bar bushings (moog)
Front lower control arms x2 (moog)
Front strut assemblies x2 (KYB)
Tie rod ends (moog)
Ball joints (555)
Driver side axle (duralast gold autozone)
Ok so over the last two weeks I meticulously did all this work on my E and to be honest I was expecting a near new ride feel but I am disappointed. First and biggest complaint there seems to be a wobble. I've read from some posts people complaining about duralast axles and wobble but man this is so bad, and really cheapens the feel of the ride. Is there anything i can do to remedy this? It's almost a deal breaker for me. Should i return these axles and buy different ones? Will that solve this? If so do i need another alignment after swapping out the driver side axle only? Secondly, the ride feels pretty rough to me. I know i've read the KYB springs are not like OEM. Would it really make that much of a difference to swap out my original OEM springs into the KYB struts? I still have the OEM springs and theyre not broken just a tad rusted. The car is very rough on small bumps in the road but when going over speed bumps or larger bumps it feels smooth and nice. I thought with all this money and work the car would feel almost like new but it almost feels the same as it previously was. What did I do wrong? I also hear some noise from the brakes, sounds like a rubbing, and some creaks here and there. I did TORQUE all the bolts while under load to factory specs. I got a wheel alignment from a somewhat reputable shop although the steering wheel feels a bit loose to me with some play desipte the near perfect adjustments according to the print out. Is there anything I am overlooking or something I can adjust to help me feel like i didnt just waste hours of work and hundreds of dollars?
