windshield specs....?

I have an 07 with a 100K on (just bought a month ago) and the windsheild has 1000's of these pinhead size specs that really annoy me in the sun, they are so bad that I would have demanded a new windsheild or no deal but it was a cloudy day when I test drove it and they do not show up then.

Can these be buffed out at a glass shop or only answer is a new windsheild, what do they come from, road debri on highway?

yes, they are from road debris and every little thing that strikes the windshield.

I am not sure if they can be buffed out. Depending on your insurance and state you live in, you should be able to get a no cost to you replacement if the visibility is that bad. If not a large rock will help with the process.

I just picked mine up today. I had a new windshield put in and a rock ding on the front of the hood repaired. They put a windshield in with the dark blue tint across the top and I like it a lot better than the OEM windshield. Looks good from the outside too.
