the leftover winjet switch was perfect for the ground lights. 8 lights and not even 1amp through the switch.

Do you have a part number for the rear shocks? Does bilstein make something like that for the front?
yes i do have the part number for the rear shocks. they are for a 2002-2006 crv.
Bilstein 4600 Series Shock Absorber - 24-107488.
bilstein makes the 2002-2006 crv 4600 shock for the front but we don't yet know if they fit the element. at 220+- a pop, i'm going to wait until my fronts are well done before i gamble again. might go beat on it a bit to help quicken the process
buy and test the fronts so i won't have to!

other things to consider like steering arm orientation, strut angle, coil reversed. i didn't know the gen2 crv had reverse coils on one side like the 2007+ elements. that was one of my main points about it not working but maybe they can. are your 2004 front coils identical or one side is reverse?
well this is something i'd definitely like to know more about... your saying the coil springs are wound differently left to right?

good news and bad news. good news is i am now lifted all around and haven't experienced the wobbles folks be talking about. still need to get it aligned...again. bad news is I lost my rake I wanted in the first place. might need to hit up Russia for some 10mm rear spacers. we'll see...
lifting the front is scary. the axles kept wanting to pop out. I used bailing wire to try to keep them steady.
front is pretty much 1:1 ratio. rear, i'll know for sure after the 10mm spacer.
