On top of the lowered seats, or on the floor?

The dimensions of air mattresses are pretty standard, since they are supposed to match the fitted sheets used on conventional mattresses. The standard width is something like 52".

The problem when using a mattress on the floor is that the floor width is only 42". Some air mattresses do ok when inflated in a narrow area, others are stiffer, and buckle.

With all 4 seats reclined back/flat you could use a full? I think that's what it's called-it's 54" wide and 75" long

With the rear seats removed/up to the side-front seats all the way forward and mattress on the floor,it's a twin? 39 or 40" wide apx. same length :)

I'm a bit lost on this. Are you telling me that if you put up the back seats and move the front seats forward that you can fit in a 75 in. mattress in"? That is a bit surprising to me, I guess I need to take another look at the pod.

Yes,with the front seats all the way forward and rears up or removed you can fit a 75" mattress,it will overlap the rear of the floor console and butt up
right against the back of the seats and right up against the closed tailgate:)

If you search "full mattress" you'll get lots of good reading!
This thread in particular has good info

See post #20 for a good pic

My E is also a 2007-don't know if that makes a difference:confused:

My wife and I inflate a queen on top of the 4 reclined seats. It's too big, but it reacts nicely to being squeezed in, and we haven't had a problem with it. It fills in all the little gaps from side to side quite nicely. Worth a try if you want a few extra inches...
