Here we go again...

Another post about this infamous issue. So I recently got an Element (woohoo!) and after a couple of days driving it, I noticed the drive light flash when I was out on the road. After reading several discussions and posts about the flashing "D" light, I assumed all I needed to do to fix my 2008 Element was to replace the 3rd gear pressure switch. The switch I bought is linked here:

After replacing the switch, I drove around for a couple of blocks and sure enough, the light started to flash again. :/

I took the car to Honda and told them about the light and they noticed metal particles in the transmission fluid and suggested to flush it out and replace the fluid, which I did about 3-500 miles before I replaced the switch (the flashing light came back even after the flush a couple of times). I'm at a loss at this point and am wondering if anybody has had a similar case like mine. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!

P.S.: The service tech also recommended me to replace the VTEC solenoid, which I haven't done just yet. Maybe that relates to this issue? I'm just throwing up assumptions. Eh.

Thanks in advance and have a great day :) !

UPDATE:

I ended up buying the OEM part of this switch. After doing research online I found out that the part I needed for this matter was

28600-RCL-004.

I bought the part and installed it this morning. I drove almost all day today and the flashing "D" light has stopped.

Sticking to OEM from here on out.
