Shine-wise it actually it works very well. It Clean as well as any other liquid I've used. Make dark colors look very rich. I have not used it on my E yet. Have yet to see how it stands up to rain yet. I bought mine (128 .oz bottle) on sale for 1.98 at the evil empire (Wal-Mart).

Is it as good as the real hand applied wax-- no. Does it look good- YES. If you can get the stuff on sale I'd give it a try. I originally bought it just so I could hand wash my car... kept looking at the car thinking -- why does this look so good? Then I read the large type on the label, I realized my car soap had wax in it. (doh!)

I hand wax my cars and keep them touched up with this OR Eagle 1 as I wash between hand waxing.

I have used the Kit wash and wax for years, on a number of cars, including the Element now. I like to use it for keeping the cars nice between waxings and it does a good job on that. It does NOT REPLACE wax, IMHO. It DOES make a nice supplement to waxing and cleans well and is mild on the finish at the very least. It is EXTREMELY good for my both my daughter's cars that rarely get ANY wax otherwise.

I have always used it with Turtle or Meguars (sp?) wax or whatever I am trying at the time...generally going back to the Turtle.

I am going to try using the Eagle One wax-as-you-dry, but will probably try that in addition to washing as I alway have with the VERY affordable Kit. I might try the Eagle One car wash if the Kit is not a good combo, AND I end up liking the Eagle One finish.

Well the Kit wash and wax seems to be compatible with the Eagle One "Wax as U dry" with AWESOME and EASY results. Works to bring out the sparkle I didn't know existed on the panels. And I use the E1 soaked rag to wipe down my bicycles when done.

I am just lazy and cheap I guess. BIG ole bottle of cheap Kit and the E1 is pretty reasonbable too and the results are auto show ready.

Life is good.
