If you have power there, then you have a motor problem or a mechanical problem with the window assembly?

If you have a "Power Probe" you could power up motor straight from battery and check?

I have a multi-meter. and a 12v power variable supply. I am going to check to see if there is a loss of power at the connector. Since the motor on the passenger door is a new motor and assembly and the one on the drivers side is original and I am not getting any clicking noises out of either motor either.

What relays are connected to the Power Windows? I didn't see any info that listed which ones need to be checked.

Two very important pieces of information are missing online.

1. The location of the power window relay.

When looking at the under dash relays its the third one (RL3) on the bottom row if you start counting from the left side. Added a pic below.

39794-S0K-A01 or Standard Motor Products RY302T Window Relay

2. The fact that the E has a power window control unit reset procedure.

I found my copy of the service manual and verified the video you posted worked on the E. It assumes you can lower the windows so I figure it has to be the actual relay.

I replaced the master switch and I can't get the relay out. It's not easy to get to and I need a tool to pull it out. I'll post an update once I get everything tested.

I would go the other way tracing the fault...

Meaning I would start at the motor, then the switch and then the relays and fuses.

Although more work, usually the motor, regulator or switch is the problem.

From what I have read from the Internet, the "Dorman" brand aftermarket units seem to have the best reviews and are about $50.

There is also the chance that the OEM motor only needs to be cleaned and relubed to work?

Is the OEM unit better than aftermarket, I don't know?

 

Update:I have no power at the door switches on the master side or the passenger side and the switches and under dash fuses tested fine.

You have to find where the power is being stopped.

Do you have a wiring schematic so you can keep tracing back to the problem?

Something is keeping power from reaching the window switch...

You just have to find it?

If not, the door harness can be found in the drivers' footwell on the outside (left) sheetmetal. There is a plug in a bracket there that the door harness connects to. Separate there and test for power in the car side connection. Power for both windows goes to the drivers side switch and then to the passenger side switch.

 

I have a similar problem, but I have narrowed it down to the door wiring harness where it goes from the body of the car into the door thru the rubber tunnel. Does anyone know of a video that might show how to repair a bad wire inside this rubber tunnel..??

I am having the same issue on passenger side. Did anyone ever figure this out? I have 2 elements so I was able to do some swapping. Pulled door harness and regulator out. Tested in other element and both were fine. Swapped switches, Relays, fuses. Everything works in my other element. Pulled out multimeter and I have power to the door harness. The only thing I haven’t tried is master switch replacement. After reading all this I think I will try it when I get home tonight. That would only make since if the master has a built in power supply that goes to passenger door. Everything else in that harness works, lock, mirror, speaker.
