What's funny is that I've been a Calvin & Hobbes Fan forever, and my mother insists the strip is modeled on me and my stuffed lion. She says that the strip is actually quoting things that were said back in 1966-67 straight from my lips and hers. (The teacher is Mrs. Dirks from Upson School on E 260th Street in Euclid Ohio...) The Transmorgrifier is one of my favorite themes!
