So wanted to update the forum since it has been about a year. The stock auto transmission could not take all the SC power and failed. I have since had the transmission rebuilt by Level 10 performance transmission shop in NJ. I also replaced the MR TVS 900 supercharger adapter plate (with an updated version) so I can now use the Merc Racing PS bracket. I also upgraded my alternator with a red Mechman brand alternator, and changed my PS pulley to a smaller black billet version. I finally have the right size 7 rib belt on and my setup is singing like sewing machine. I couldn’t be happier!

I may have missed it, but do you run a heat exchanger for tranny? I have enjoyed reading about your build. Originally I hoped you had some good Honda guys in Houston, as I am edging closer to adding a sixth gear to my '03 EX (my daughter's first car that has come back to me after the California cousins learned to drive a manual.) Last question, How for you find your headlights? Sharp cutoff beam? I would like to increase brightness of our headlights, but do not want sloppy light. I hope we cross paths some time.

Have you gotten the parts yet for the 6th gear mod? If so, where from? The fork I am only seeing in Japan. I am now looking for a tsx transmission to rob the parts from.

I run HID setup, Morimoto for retrofit scource. Cutoff line is fine.
 
AWD- I got a direct message from a guy named Gio Angelo, (I would love to bring him into this conversation, but don’t know how to do that ) he was having trouble posting in the forums. He sent me the following:


Boosting an 09+ will require swapping to an 07-08 Acura TSX ecu and having your key/immobilizer reprogrammed. Note: I only know of people that have done it on a manual transmission Element, and VSA will be lost in the process
TSX AT ecu: 37820-RBB-A71 or 37010-RBB-506
TSX MT ecu: 37820-RBB-A21 or 37010-RBB-505

Believe it or not Jose is willing to take on this experimental project to see if we can make it work. I am going to buy the automatic transmission ECU, and a tuning kit, and we’re going to see if we can make it work. That would be super Duper awesome! Do you happen to know of anyone who has had good luck putting an Acura TSXECU in an E?
Has anyone at this point actually gotten a 2009-2011 working with some sort of tune without loosing the VSA system?
 
I just read every single post from the beginning and now I’m dying to do this. I’m going for an offroad/overlanding build so the extra power would definitely help with the extra weight. I was worried about the automatic transmission though, I’m in a wheelchair so it has to be automatic, but I see that hasn’t been a problem for this insane build!

But it WAS a major problem
 
In that particular case I would be more after torque and traction than HP. Maybe a good LSD diff to start with
I put the wavetrac lsd in mine. MT AWD. Starting NA to get her running. Then gonna supercharge. Picking up a Skunk2 Ultra Street Intake Manifold today lol I’ll sell it when I buy the charger. But I’m shooting for about 260whp and I’m guessing 185 or so torque NA which is pretty sweet for the K.

Thats actually more than you realize for FWD. I bet she breaks traction at 30mph. My rsx would and it wasnt as front end light as an element
