Paint Code

I have a SOP E . I am having the dash parts smoothed out and painted the same as the outside. Where are the paint codes for the outside ?

The exterior paint code & interior color code can be found on a sticker inside the drivers door frame. You have a Sunset Orange Pearl 2005, you should find the code :YR539P listed on the sticker there. That should be your color code.

HELP!!! Need Paint Code

Hey! My E has been in the paint shop for 5 very long weeks. The painter is having problems matching the grey panels to the silver paint. He has tried different brands of paint but still he can not find a decent match. Does anyone know what paint code and brand can be used to match the silver paint as close as possible? My painter is telling me that two-toning the car would be the best way of getting out of the predicament. I would still really like to stay with a solid color. I'm taking a trip down to the body shop tommorow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

paint code is on the door. Your painter should know that. Fill in your Element info under UserCP and then someone would be able to give you the exact paint code.

I would be worried about a body shop that doesn't know where or what the paint codes are.

Paint codes!

I'm not sure if this is anywhere on the boards, but I found all the paint codes for all the colors the Element was offered in. If you give this code to someone with a big paint mixing droid (ha, Empire and tooljedi), they can mix up the right paint to paint your car! I think.

Anyway, these are for all the years, including 2007!

Element Colour List and Paint Codes

In case anyone is interested or wants to know what the names of the colours are and what years they were produced, here's a little list I was turned on to. We've got the same type of thing going on over at www.northamericanmotoring.com for MINIs as there are so many colours for them and some with very limited production numbers.
