I dunno what the official name for them is. the hydrolic posts that hold the rear hatch open. they squeek like crazy when i open and close the gate. Any tips on what to put on them to lube things up?

Honda calls it a "stay assy., tailgate open," p/n 74820-SCV-A01.
White lithium grease is probably safe to use. Be sure to lubricate the pivots at both ends, as it's just as likely to be squeaking from there as from the piston itself. Likewise the liftgate hinges.
