Let's say I am moving a couch with the cargo door open, but I don't want the couch to fall during the drive. I thought about hooking a tie down to each side of that car. Is there a safe place to do that?

1. latch points (above rear door)
2. grab handles
3. tie-down points at rear inside door
4. seat hold-down bars in floor.
of those, i'd think the last would be the strongest.
though when i moved a couch similarly, i used #3, and had no problems when driving, up to 50mph at points.

assuming you are removing or folding your rear seats up to the side you could use the latch points for the rear seats?
