I usually get anywhere from 200-235 miles, depending on how I drive, when my light goes on. I haven't really payed attention to the amount of gas left when the light is actually on. It seems from some posts that there's a decent amount of gas left?

City Driving

Driving back and forth to work, church and "puppy camp" -- all runs that are between 4 and 8 miles one way with hills and stop lights -- I find I can go between 210 and 240 miles before I get a "Low Fuel" indicator.

A typical Fill Up after the "Low Fuel" is about 12.5 gallons (average). I say about and average as I don't always acknowledge the light immediately.

I did 1 tank of gas 303 miles from south of Buffalo, NY to Gap, PA.......i believe light went on somewhere between Lancaster - Harrisburg, PA

Mileage

Have had my 09 Element EX automatic for 3 years. Never could do better than 17 or 18 in town; 19-20 tops on the highway. But last 6 months have been using this super awesome product that's giving me roughly 20-21 mpg in town, and last long road trip... 26.6 mpg on the highway! Per fill-up, am seeing a cost-savings of around 18 to 20%!!!

Have to ask - what is this "super awesome product" of which you speak?

I'm too broke to fill the tank these days!

Lets revisit this thread...currently getting 210 city before the light comes on. You are welcome big oil! 05 with 142k miles
I just purchased my Element a week ago. It is a 2005 with 81k on it and I got 207 miles before my gas light came on. I figured it would get just a tad bit better than that.. I feel your pain Sam.

i can take it to about 300-315 per tank if I feel like pushing it but I cave and top off at 1/2 tank just in case I run out of money or the gas stations are closed for a few days, I can still get around :D

This super awesome product is called green fuel tabs. It's marketed by a company called GFT Global. If you want to purchase some tabs to give them a try, let me know. You have to run through 3 tanks using the tabs before you see and feel a noticeable difference, as it takes a while for them to clean all that gunk and deposits out of your engine. But the more you use them, the better your mileage will be and the better your E will perform.

My weekly driving is primarily commuting and the commute to and from work is about 2/3 freeway miles, 1/3 street. My 09 (with 42K miles on it) is pretty steady at giving me 280-310 miles before the light comes on.
I am not a lead foot, but not a granny either, with freeway speed between 60-70 mph.
The best I have done was about 25mpg. Usually it's around 22-23.

Did a cold air intake type deal no improvement. I get 18 19 if I'm lucky. I have had a few road trips got anywhere from 20 to 25. But more on the lower end. I drive highway and interstate most of the time

500+ miles per fill-up

With my 06 LX stickshift 4WD I regulary get 500+ miles per fill-up. The vehicles delivers 30 - 32 mpg. 'Shoot back - drive 55' is the secret.
Hypermile, cruise in the right lane and avoid using the brakes unnecessarily
-and-
most important: Don't idle the car (every 4 minutes idling = 1 mile less range!)
Oh, by the way: Our gas is USD 7.15 per Gallon...

My last fill up is 49.5L / 407km , so its about 13gal / 252miles.
90% city driving slightly up/down hill with traffic lights. Factory recommended tire pressure F32/R34 psi on 225/70 R16 tires
