I'll put together a complete parts list. Should total about $250-300 for parts unless you splurge for a new 5-6 synchro hub assembly which you dont need.
Again - so grateful to your work rhurt!

I thought I read this wayyyyy back when you posted in 2006. It's been so long though, when I ordered parts - I ended up ordering this just in case.

After having it all a part - I see no reason to use it as it seemed overkill. I thought about just using it either way - then decided to save it for if I ended up doing another transmission with different gear set.

More updates to share later when it's all back together (and hopefully working properly 😬)
 
I did the gear swap a few weeks ago, but the tsx selector arm (with rev lock out solenoid) doesnt work with the selector cap that mates to the trans case. it seems to not allow complete rotation banging into the cap
 
Did you accidentally reinstall the reverse cam lock out or leave it removed?

I swapped all the levers and stacks from the tsx... that wasn't part of the stack that came over from the tsx

I do understand you swapped the stack over from a TSX. That reverse cam lockout highlighted is from the factory Element 5 Speed manual. Its critical to make sure it wasn't kept in with swapping in the 6 speed assembly from the TSX.

If there is a picture you can share to help illustrate, we as the community can better help think of some possible solutions to solve your issue.

im not talking about the internals.... sorry, if that confused you...im driving it now

my concern is swapping over the shift selector arm ( I am still using the crv/element arm with tsx internals (springs, gate, etc)
