Suggestions for valve and head gasket job?

I have a burnt valve in cylinder 2. So I'm going to be taking out the head and sending it to a machine shop to have them mill it flat, do a valve job, and put in new gaskets.

Questions: Does anyone have part recommendations? I intend on replacing all the gaskets. I can get a set of Honda gaskets for about $250 or a Fel-Pro set for about $70, Enginetech (haven't heard of this brand) set is $90 with all the head bolts. Is OEM the only way to go here? Head bolts, again are aftermarket good to go? Valves-- same question. If anyone has aftermarket recs please fire away.

I've had to drive it for a while with a misfire (it runs good at temp and in typical driving RPM ranges, but idles poorly especially when cold), how worried do I need to be about further damage to the engine? Is there a chance I've damaged the cylinder/piston and I'm wasting my time doing just the head?

While I have it all torn down is there anything easy to hit that I definitely should consider replacing? Right now I plan on replacing valves, gaskets, head bolts (seems like everyone replaces the bolts when they do this job, but I'm not sure why).

Thanks!

felpro, you cant go wrong with them especially at that price. I have never heard of anyone having issues with felpro gaskets for all the decades they have been around

use new OEM head bolts at the very least as recommended by my mechanic, the best engine builder I have ever met, No need to go with ARP unless you are building a high performance motor, just get NEW oem, dont reuse the old oem head bolts

another tip I got for rebuilding heads, is try to get a motorcycle engine rebuilder to do the head, they are more used to doing high precision work than alot of my local engine rebuilders around here who have mostly worked on looser tolerance old school pushrod V8s
